We have child care.

We’ve made it a priority to provide childcare on Sunday mornings and Thursday evenings. However, on Sundays, the children go back in to the mass for communion with the expectation of remaining for the rest of the mass. This is to help your children transition to full participation in the Mass, highlighting key moments they can look forward to. Even if they’re not yet baptized or receiving communion, we encourage you to bring them forward for a blessing from the priest. Finally, please do not worry about any noise they make—our clergy are genuinely delighted to hear the sounds of children in our parish!

Your Childcare Provider:

Odone (oh-dough-nay) both cares for and teaches the children. She effectively teaches the kids to memorize the psalms and, according to the liturgical calendar, she incorporates various songs, projects, and short teachings, of which the clergy oversee. Finally, she is loved and trusted by both the parents and the children she cares for.

“If you want to raise your family in a traditional, orthodox community, look no further than St Mary’s. Bringing our family into mass at St Mary’s has provided a great opportunity for our toddlers to practice discipline, patience, and stillness, while witnessing their community participate in ancient tradition.”

“As a new mother, St. Mary’s has been a place of refreshment and grace for me. This parish welcomed my son, Hosea, with warmth and excitement when he first attended mass as a newborn, and their love for him has only grown! St. Mary’s received him into the family of God with care, respect, intentionality, and so many mid-mass smiles and waves. Even when he is extra excited during mass or crawling around on the floor mid-Bible study, St. Mary’s has given us nothing but helpful hands and wholehearted care.”
